“Work is what you are paid to do; a hobby is for your pleasure.”[1]

This statement aptly describes a reviewer. A special appreciation and thank you to the reviewers for being a part of our journey as editors. To create a perfect symphony, the bandmaster faces his team with the back to the audience; in a journal, the editor faces the audience, and the team of reviewers has their back to the authors and readers. The reviewers are vital for the journal's performance to increase the quality of the article and the turnaround time of the article. The Journal of Midlife Health follows the “double-blinded” peer-review process wherein the authors and reviewers are unaware of each other's identity.[2]

A special thanks to the researchers for submitting work to our journal, and like to hear more from you. We regret we cannot accommodate all submitted articles.

The editorial board is an integral part of the journey, and a special thanks to the co-opted members Dr. Ajay Gajanan Phatak, Dr. Venkat N. Vangaveti, and Dr. Tanvir Tanvir for their valuable inputs. We appreciate the time given for the constructive input, which helped make crucial decisions, and we thoroughly enjoyed the debates.

Apart from review articles, viewpoints, and commentaries, we had two exciting series, one on pictorial review on the endometrium and the other on gender bias in diseases. We thank the invited authors for taking the time to write on subjects that have enhanced readership.

Finally, Mr. Sandeep Chugh and the team from the publisher Wolters Kluwer have gone beyond their call of duty to give us quality service.
